Ducan's diet
The diet is good because you can consume an unlimited amount of permitted foods. This allows you to get rid of the feeling of hunger, which is very important for many people. Thanks to the wide range of products recommended for consumption, it is quite easy to make a varied and delicious menu.
The only downside is the high price of the products offered, although you can choose a detailed menu for different segments of the population. There may also be a lack of certain vitamins, but this can be easily eliminated by taking various vitamin complexes. The result is literally displayed in the first few days. Being overweight disappears quickly as fat is burned and muscle mass is maintained. The skin, nails and hair are in good condition.
Platoon
The weight loss process on this diet consists of four stages:
- "Attack".
- "Alternation".
- "Recording".
- "Stabilization".
The time allotted for the first three stages depends directly on how many kilograms of excess weight you need to lose.
Important! In the "attack" phase, you can only eat protein foods, not others. The range continues to increase. In the second phase, vegetables are added, and in the third, fruits are added.
But there are rules that must be followed in all four stages.
- Every day you should drink about one and a half liters of non-carbonated drinking water, eat no more than three tablespoons of oat bran.
- It is recommended to completely exclude oil, fat and mayonnaise from the usual menu.
- The products must be cooked, baked, grilled or prepared in a pan with a special non-stick coating without the addition of fat.
- We recommend daily walks in the fresh air.
"Attack"
This is the first step in the Dukan diet. The duration varies between three and ten days. The number of days is determined by the weight you plan to lose. So, for example, to remove about 30 kg in the attack phase, the duration should be about ten days. During the attack, the body receives a huge dose of protein, which speeds up the metabolism and makes the fat disappear very quickly.
Edible: lean beef, skinless chicken, fish, liver, hard-boiled eggs, rabbit, mussels, shrimp, squid, crab and non-fat dairy products.
Its use is prohibited:
- plant products;
- pork and lamb;
- sauces, ketchup and mustard.
At this stage, it is very important not to forget about the liquid and drink it in the right amount.
We recommend that you eat whenever you want and do not limit yourself to amounts. At the beginning of the stage, people often experience mild discomfort. In this case, you should avoid strenuous physical effort.
"Alternation"
At this stage, protein products alternate with protein-plant products. The number of alternating days and the phase of the seizure depend on the weight given. In this case, the sequence should not exceed five days of protein and the same amount of protein and vegetables. And because there are so many days in the alternation stage, you have to be extremely careful.
Important! Dr. Dukan considers the 1: 1 ratio to be the most optimal order.
- You can’t eat potatoes, avocados, corn and all legumes.
- It is also forbidden to eat cereals and all kinds of cereals.
It is recommended to cook, fry or eat only raw vegetables. It’s just important to keep in mind that unlike protein foods, vegetables can be consumed in limited quantities. Season the salad dressing with low-fat yogurt or kefir and occasionally balsamic vinegar.
It is perfectly normal for the weight to go a little slower than in the first stage, but it does not harm the body at all. Such weight loss is safe and stable.
"Recording"
The name of the stage reveals almost everything. All the results that have already been achieved during the diet are consolidated. The duration is easily predictable for anyone on a diet. For each kilogram lost in the first two stages, a record of ten days is required.
Adding a fruit and a small piece of low-fat cheese to your diet is allowed daily. The significance of this stage can hardly be overestimated because often during the period of consolidation, people regain all the kilograms they lost in the previous stages. When you lose weight, you may return to your previous eating habits.
The period is difficult to such an extent that the constant feeling of hunger is greatly increased, fatigue increases, and increased cold sensitivity appears. But all these symptoms disappear as soon as one persists for a given period of time.
Important! In the third stage, the presence of two days a week is pleasant, when almost anything you want is allowed.
There are a number of rules that just need to be followed.
- The duration of the entire consolidation period must be calculated correctly. Protein and plant products in unlimited quantities and as much as we want.
- You may want to leave one day a week when you only need to eat protein-rich foods. It is very important to consume previously banned foods in small portions, getting used to this amount and beyond.
- Potatoes and pasta are great for this stage, which go well with tomatoes and onions.
"Stabilization"
The body is already accustomed to the new weight, the period of adjustment has passed, and it has stopped giving back the lost pounds. At this stage, the most important thing is to get used to the simple diet rules that now need to be followed all the time. After a long diet, this is not difficult to do.
For protein products, it is worth choosing one day. Just select any day of the week and make it a rule that there is only protein on that day. Reduce your consumption of fish and fruit, potatoes are recommended no more than twice a week. Of course, let's not forget about sports. It will never be superfluous.
What to eat
The doctor identified a hundred foods that were allowed to be consumed during the protein diet. It contained 72 protein-containing protein products and 28 high-carbohydrate vegetables. Oat bran is neither. But their use is important, according to the doctor.
We can eat turkey, guinea fowl, chicken, game, quail and pigeon from poultry. The range of fish allowed is also very varied. Dried and smoked fish can be absolutely anything.
